We were lucky enough to work on Apple Music’s flagship Live Music Film of Taylor Swift’s concert on her 1989 tour in Sydney Australia.
Working alongside Serial Pictures and the very talanted Jonas Akerlund we were tasked with recording a total of 72 channels of Video. Straight after the show finished, we delivered proxy footage via an accelerated download portal to Los Angeles where we were also providing post production services for an edit environment comprising of some 20 Strong Edit suites running 24/7 all connected to a SAN for a very fast turnaround delivery in time for Taylor’s birthday! The edit started three hours after the show ended in Australia.
We also had a remote grading suite in Berlin working on the final grade with a real time SDI feed back to LA for the director to review and approve the finished piece shot by shot.
